We Started a Blog!
Yes, we started a blog. But, if we're honest, we're not sure why. So let's use a few hundred words to work it out. As you'll have noticed, since, well, it's published on a website that didn't exist a couple of weeks ago, we also started a website. It's all very exciting.
Why on Earth Does This Even Exist?!
Why does this exist, I hear you ask. Because I primed you by having that as the sub-heading title. Clever, eh? Well, the answer is simple. The blog as a whole exists because blog content is easier to craft around our frankly ridiculous schedules. You can write a blog post on the toilet, for example. I have been reliably informed that you can't record a podcast on the toilet... This post specifically exists because, well, something had to be first. And writing a meta-relevant only blog post about the blog on which the post is being hosted is I think the most internet thing that has ever existed.
Also, it's a test of if the website works. Which, since I built it, means it's 50/50 at best.
The State of the Podcast
Seems fair at this point to hold our hands up. Yes, I've got Vib's hands to hold up too. No, how I got them isn't important. Moving on. We've not been as good as we'd like to be about recording. It's just one of those things. We're sorry. We're trying to be better. We've got an episode recorded and up on Patreon for early access, and it'll be in general release next Monday. If you're a regular listener reading this, thanks for sticking around. We really appreciate you. If you're a new listener or somehow stumbled across this website, at least you've got more than 100 episodes of content to catch up on, all available in our Episode Archive. Wait, Video Too?!
There might not be much new podcast content to listen to (but that should change soon), but for now what we do have which we're (I'm) very proud of is a burgeoning Youtube channel. Check it out. For now, I'm sticking with weekly uploads of Let's Play style content, but who knows where we'll end up.
So Long For Now, But Not For Long
OK, I think that's the update. No idea what the next blog will be about. Probably something mental. I watched Spiderman: Brand New Day recently and have serious FEELINGS about it. And Vib keeps threatening to write a post as well, which would be a good trick really given that he's, as we know, illiterate.
